There are several ways to work with Ideal and we are open to discuss any optioned offered. There are a couple of standard ways that we have found to work well. One option is to establish a relationship with Ideal in anticipation of working with us on future projects or requirements so that your consideration of our contribution to your corporate business development objectives is incorporated in your overall business plan. This means that you will have a reliable pre-qualified partner ready when needed. The process that works best for Ideal is to receive your list of material as early as possible in the project cycle and provide counts and product details including any specified or preferred manufacturer. Ideal will go to the manufacturers or if none are identified will use its resources to source the product by description or part number. Ideal will than provide competitive pricing to you either on or before bid day. We are able to respond to bid/buy opportunities, MRO or annual buy contract opportunities or spot buy requirements. We find that we are able to offer competitive pricing on project quotes. We are not a traditional counter sales distributor so wholesale quantity orders are a niche that we fill well.
Another option is to contact Ideal when you identify an opportunity that has a requirement for inclusion of a certified women or minority business in the jurisdiction that let the contract. Ideal is open to negotiate with your buyers or estimators to find a competitive price that will allow you to win the business and stay within your budget. Often there is a requirement to have the minority business to certify to the governing agency that there is intent or an actual agreement to do business with the contractor. Ideal will promptly indorse all of the necessary documents as presented and insure that they are submitted timely.
Ideal Electrical Supply Corporation (T/A Ideal Electric) is a Women and Minority owned and operated firm. Once you have determined that you want to proceed with Ideal the process is as follows;
Your firm will generate a purchase order detailing all of the products that you wish to purchase through Ideal.

This information will be used to determine the credit worthiness of the new client and to set them up in our accounting system.
Ideal will than process a purchase order (s) to all of the manufacturers or sources of products indicated on the customer purchase order and will generate an internal sales order that will be used to track the order process throughout the project. Once product is delivered as required an invoice will be generated and presented to the customer in accordance with the agreed upon payment terms and conditions.
